Shawn Daly began his career in the insurance industry in early 2015, following a distinguished 20-year career with the Auburn Police Department. After retiring from law enforcement, Shawn initially worked in voluntary insurance before transitioning into the Medicare field, where he has spent the past eight years helping individuals confidently navigate the complexities of Medicare.

A lifelong resident of Cayuga County, Shawn takes great pride in serving his local community. He is also a proud military veteran, having served in the United States Navy, and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Administration from Cayuga Community College.

Shawn resides just south of Auburn with his wife, Ashley, and their four children: Amanda, Trey, Meara Evelyn, and Christian James. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid outdoor enthusiast who enjoys country living and staying active in the community.

He serves on several local boards, including the Falcon’s Sportsmen’s Club and the Southern Cayuga Sports Conference. Shawn is also deeply involved in youth development, coaching and sponsoring local baseball and soccer teams. In addition, he is a member of Knights of Columbus Council #207 and a parishioner at St. Mary and St. Martha Parish in Auburn.
